At the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards last night, Nicki Minaj performed some of her most popular songs.
She performed a number of songs, including "Super Bass," "Super Freaky Girl," "Monster," "Beez in the Trap," "Chun-Li," "Roman's Revenge," "Moment 4 Life," and others.
Following the presentation of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, the rapper thanked those who had helped and supported her career, including Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Slick Rick, and Doug E. Fresh. She also thanked the musicians who had given her opportunities, including Britney Spears, Rihanna, Madonna, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, BeyoncΓ©, and Eminem.
“I wish that Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson were here,” she said. “I wish people understood what they meant and what they were going through. I wish people took mental health seriously, even for the people you think have the perfect lives.” Check out her performance:
