At the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards last night, Nicki Minaj performed some of her most popular songs.
She performed a number of songs, including "Super Bass," "Super Freaky Girl," "Monster," "Beez in the Trap," "Chun-Li," "Roman's Revenge," "Moment 4 Life," and others.
Following the presentation of the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award, the rapper thanked those who had helped and supported her career, including Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Lauryn Hill, Slick Rick, and Doug E. Fresh. She also thanked the musicians who had given her opportunities, including Britney Spears, Rihanna, Madonna, Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Beyoncé, and Eminem.
“I wish that Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson were here,” she said. “I wish people understood what they meant and what they were going through. I wish people took mental health seriously, even for the people you think have the perfect lives.” Check out her performance:
