"Ada The Country" portrays the narrative of Ada, played by ace Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw, who loses her 9-month-old daughter and property in a fire that she barely escapes.
Her tragic event throws her into depression, but she is able to walk through a process of repair with the help of women from different generations who have been through similar ordeals.
The all-female cast musical, directed by Kemi Lala Akindoju, a multi-award-winning producer and actor, and written by Titilope Sonuga, an award-winning writer, poet, and performer, highlights the message of hope amid loss, friendship amid loneliness, and strength amid despair.
It also looks at the girl child's path from birth through motherhood, including her childhood, adolescence, and adulthood.
