Taika Waititi sat down with the folks at Sydney Morning Herald, where the Oscar-winning director/writer addressed the viral photos of him, Tessa Thompson, and Rita Ora.
Recall that in May, Daily Mail published the photos, which shows Thompson alongside Waititi and Ora as they snuggled up with each other. Waititi is rumored to be dating Ora. While fans weren’t sure if their embrace was a romantic one, the photos still got many people thinking the trio are a “throuple.”

Well, Taika says he has zero regrets.
“I was doing nothing wrong,” he told the Morning Herald, and asked if the attention made him angry, he said: “Not really. I think in the world of the internet, everything goes away pretty quick. And also, ‘is it that big a deal?’ No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It’s fine.”
Meanwhile, he posted a photo of him alongside Chris Hemsworth’s Thor and confirmed he had wrapped filming for the much-anticipated Thor: Love and Thunder sequel, starring Hemsworth and Thompson.
“This film is the craziest thing I’ve ever done,” he captioned the photo, “and I’m honoured to bust my ass and have a nervous breakdown so you can all see it in May 2022.”
