Prince Charles Visits Black Health Care Workers Amid Claims Of Royal Family Racism

The official Clarence House Instagram account posted several photos on Tuesday — just hours after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey — of Prince Charles, visiting a place called Jesus House. In the photos, the Prince can be seen talking to several workers and patients — most of whom are black. The caption reads, “Continuing Their Royal Highnesses’ work to encourage vaccine take-up, The Prince of Wales today visited @jesushouseuk in London, where a new NHS vaccine pop-up clinic has been put into action. It continues, “The Prince previously visited Jesus House, together with The Duchess of Cornwall, in 2007 to celebrate the community work of Black Majority Churches.” Of course, according to reports, people are questioning the timing and the optics of posing with black health care workers following the allegations. In other words, a PR stunt to show there is no racism inside the palace. According to reports, Buckingham Palace is denying the visit was just about optics and getting the Prince posed with African-American health care workers. In fact, they are claiming the visit was scheduled over a week ago. An Instagram account used by the royal family just posted a series of pictures of Prince Charles with Black people at an NHS site.
