#NASSPayCutNow trends as Nigerians demand a cut in lawmakers salaries

Nigerians on Twitter are currently demanding a cut in the salaries of National Assembly members.

Using the hashtag #NassPayCutNow, the angry Nigerians are demanding that the remuneration and allowances of lawmakers be slashed. They have threatened to occupy the National Assembly if this isn't addressed .
