Security operatives have reportedly entered houses to retrieve COVID-19 palliatives allegedly looted overnight from a warehouse in Akobo community of Ibadan, Oyo state’s capital.
According to some eyewitnesses, some of the houses visited by these soldiers are around Ajara Community Primary School in Akobo, Ibadan.
Reports gathered that residents of the area allegedly stormed the area late in the night to loot the palliatives kept in the warehouse in Akobo community.
Following the incident, security operatives reportedly arrived the next day to reclaim the palliatives. A clip making the rounds shows the officers packing food stuffs into a bus.
