For the 2020 BET Awards remembered late music legend Little Richard with a performance by comedian-musician Wayne Brady.
Little Richard died at age 87 on May 9 of bone cancer. And on Sunday, Brady did his best to emulate the legend; dressed in a shiny gold suit, he gave an energetic performance with a medley that included some of the “architect of rock ‘n’ roll’s” greatest hits.
Brady played Little Richard on American Soul, a BET drama that told the story of the making of Soul Train.
Li'l Wayne took to a virtual stage at the 2020 BET Awards on Sunday to pay tribute to late L.A. Lakers star Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant.
Wayne’s performance included videos and heartbreaking lyrics that highlighted the all-star’s legacy in not only basketball but beyond. Bryant, 41, died in a helicopter crash in January.
“I call him King Bryant,” rapped Lil Wayne. “Now let the crown show.”

Cassper agreed to entertain the match in a recent episode of YouTube podcast PopCast, which features Scoop Makhathini, Ms Cosmo, PH and DJ Speedsta.
According to Cassper, the boxing match take place on his Saturday Metro FM show. “We need to meet in the ring. That’s all I want. It’s too late for apologies,” Cass said.

designer Ehi Ogbebor's 35th birthday. Ehi had just unveiled her mansion
and invited friends over and while gushing over Ehi's achievement, Toyin
Lawani made the statement.
She said: "We be man, we're taking over. You guys are joking, you're going to wash plate."
She added that men always think any woman who achieves what Ehi
has achieved did it by selling her body or by getting involved in

Well, her statement caused outrage as men called her out for suggesting that women are taking over from men.

Governor Makinde has revealed that his administration went against the land use rule in Oyo state to give approval for the burial of former Governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi at his Oluyole Estate residence.
Makinde who denied that his government was responsible for the delay of the burial, said Ajimobi's family had sought approval for his burial in a plot of land at Agodi GRA, but the request was denied because the land was under litigation.
The Oyo state Governor's spokesperson Taiwo Adisa said the Oyo state government later allowed the burial of the Ajimobi at his residence, against the state's rules on lands in Government Reservation Areas (GRA).
The Oyo State Government has denied allegations it is responsible for the delay in the burial of a former governor of the state, Abiola Ajimobi, who died from multiple failed organs due to COVID-19 complications in a private hospital in Lagos on Thursday, June 25.

Family Guy voice actor, Mike Henry, has announced that he will be stepping down from his role as Cleveland Brown because a coloured actor ought to play the role since Cleveland is a coloured character.
Mike Henry, 54, voiced the character of Cleveland Brown for two decades on "Family Guy," said on Friday that he is stepping down from the role on the FOX animated series.
He wrote on Instagram: "It’s been an honor to play Cleveland on Family Guy for 20 years. I love this character, but persons of color should play characters of color. Therefore, I will be stepping down from the role."
Henry, who is a white man, has voiced the character since the series debuted in 1999. He has also been the voice behind a Latin maid named Consuela on the series.
