Afrobeat superstar Davido had a discussion with Melanin Unscripted (MU) and Columbia University in celebration of his new album, ‘A Good Time.’
The album “A Good Time”, takes listeners on a sonic journey through Davido’s life, and touches on love, celebration, family and friends. Davido is using the phrase “A Good Time” to shine a positive light on African culture by passing across a message using music as a vessel for impact and social change that enhances the image of Africa and the bridge between America.
Davido, in a discussion with Amarachi Nwosu, addressed what the next frontier of afrobeat looks like, and how he has used his music to shape a new, vibrant image of Africa.
