#jaiyeorie ![PRESS RELEASE !!!!! Temitope Solaja aka Star Girl Distance Self From The Controversial 'Iyawo Naira Marley' Movie
Nollywood actress Temitope Solaja popular known as Star Girl has debunked the ongoing tales and allegations levelled against her by popular social media critic and journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, about a movie titled "Iyawo Naira Marley" which was reported to have been produced by her.
The actress is using this opportunity to distance herself from this issue. In a statement made available to the press, the actress stated that, " while the content of the movie is mine, I am not aware of the title and platform that uploaded it, Africa Yoruba Movies. The title of my movie is "Alejo" and was released online by Olumo TV YouTube platform on January 14, 2019. This can be verified. The other platform, Africa Yoruba Movies that changed the title to "Iyawo Naira Marley" infringed on my intellectual property and I have notified my marketer for them to write YouTube and lodge a complaint". "It is however not news that, the film making industry is having an unending battle with online pirates who manipulate contents and titles, with the objective of diverting traffic to their illegal and fraudulent platforms." "I thus distance myself and brand from any content titled "Iyawo Naira Marley", as I wouldn't become so insensitive to do such thing to the personality of a well loved artiste." Piracy issue has been an albatross of the Nigerian movie industry hindering her growth🙏🙏
