Pieces from Eva Mendes recent collection can be found in the “New Arrivals” section of New York & Company’s e-commerce website, and critics are giving Eva the side-eye .
Fans and critics have identified some similarities between some pieces in her collection with New York and company and Lisa Folawiyo's Jewel by Lisa SS 2018 collection. The prints pattern and a knot to the side is sheer imitation .
Eva Mendes has collaborated with and co-created collections with retailer New York & Company over the past few seasons.
Nevertheless the pattern is similar but Lisa's material is silk, satin and chiffon while of New York & Company’s is polyester and cotton.

This is not the first time a brand has been accused of copying Lisa Folawiyo.
In 2012, the designer called out Burberry over similarities the brand shared with some of her creations.
