The Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, explained why he could not marry a Nigerian girl. Speaking at a recent Sun interview, the 64-year-old German tactic mentioned the difference in culture and language differences as the main reason that he would not marry a Nigerian when asked about the possibility of marriage second wife like former Nigerian overseer, Clemens Westerhof married to a Zimbabwe woman.
In his words, he said: “My president (Amaju Pinnick) joked about it recently. He said he was going to hand me a Nigerian woman and we all laughed about it.“
“To be sincere, Nigerian ladies are very beautiful and tempting but it is going to be very difficult to marry one. Language and cultural background will be a serious barrier,” he added.
