This morning on CNN, the world's first news network, Isha Sesay asked Mo Abudu, CEO of EbonyLife TV, to tell her about her upcoming series, The Dahomey Warriors. Mo explained that EbonyLife TV was launched as a way to change Africa's narrative, with its usual negative perceptions, and to tell rich and powerful stories about the continent, its history and its influence on the world. Six years ago, the chain discovered amazing stories, including one about elephant hunters in 1645, which turned into a formidable fighting force and bodyguard of the ruler of Dahomey (now Beninese) . Project development for a global production partner, which resulted in Sony Pictures Television in late March. The phenomenal success of Black Panther is both a reality and a reality. In fact, Abudu said that the cast would remain faithful to the aesthetics of the time and place of the story. "Black the best, with melanin popping," was his hilarious answer. In addition, Dahomey Warriors was the first of many stories that will come to our screens, following the agreement with Sony.
