Jennifer Lopez’s “El Anillo” era brought a distinctly regal edge to her visuals, and her dancers were dressed to match the drama.

For the music video, designer Laurel DeWitt created 26 custom looks for Jennifer Lopez and her backup dancers, incorporating her signature chain and metalwork into the production. The dancers’ looks were styled by Ramee Randall, adding another layer of fashion direction to the elaborate visual.

DeWitt is particularly known for transforming chains and metal into dramatic wearable pieces. Her work has become closely associated with performance fashion, with Jennifer Lopez among the major artists who have worn her designs.

The custom chainmail outfits complemented the fantasy-inspired world of “El Anillo,” where Lopez appeared in a series of ornate, jewel-heavy looks with a regal aesthetic. The styling helped make the dancers part of the visual storytelling rather than simply background performers.

It is another example of how costume design, styling and music can work together to build an entire visual identity around a performance.
