President Muhammadu Buhari attended the Fatiha wedding of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje's daughter Fatima and her fiancé Idris Ajimobi in Kano State. The wedding of Fatiha de Fatima and Idris Ajimobi, son of the governor Abiola Ajimobi of the state of Oyo, took place around 12:30 pm at the central mosque of Kano with the procedure of marriage told by the emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi II and supported by Imam Kano leader, Professor Sani Zaharaddeen. Among the important personalities who attended the grand fatiha wedding were Senate President Bukola Saraki, 22 governors and 11 ministers, and more than 10 traditional chiefs from across the country. Also present were the Secretary of the Federation Government, Mr. Boss Mustapha, the President's Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, and the Senior Special Assistant to the President of Media and Advertising, Malam Garba Shehu. Others were members of the National Assembly, members of the business community, politicians and members of the diplomatic corps.
