Mel B: Texts To Siya Not Witness Intimidation- Cops

Mel B did not commit the crime of intimidating witnesses sending text messages to witnesses in their case of divorce ... to several cops who reviewed the texts.  The LAPD opened a testimony of an unauthorized investigation involving Mel B as a suspect after a Siya rapper went to the station and filed a police report.  Siya is on the list of witnesses and is ready to testify about Mel B's allegations of bodily abuse in the hands of her opposite wife, Stephen Belafonte. Siya will also testify about the alleged use of the drug Mel B and how he invented the now-infamous 3-way.  Siya went to the police station on Sunday to file a police report, but the officer of the apartment who read the texts was unfaithful and said the messages did not rise to the level of intimidation of witnesses. The rank went off, he returned to the lawyer the next day and this time a report was submitted.
 LAPD has a policy of taking a report if the alleged victim insists, even if cops believe no crime was committed. The case will ultimately be sent to prosecutors for review and a decision.
