Sanaa Lathan Live ‘Nappily Ever After’ On Netflix!

Sanaa Lathan  just got her next leading role. The modern day woman film, Nappily Ever After, is an adaptation of the best-selling novel with the same name, written by Trisha R. Thomas.
Variety reports:

“The film follows a woman with a seemingly flawless life — a great job, a handsome boyfriend who’s a doctor, and a meticulously maintained coiffure. But after an accident at the hair salon, each of these things starts to unravel, and Violet begins to realize that she was living the life she thought she was supposed to live, not the one that she really wanted.”

Sanaa starring in the film, she’s also producing it. Director Haifaa Al-Mansour (Wadjda) will helm the film with Marc Platt, Tracey Bing, and Jared Leboff .






Nappily Ever After is a passion project for Tracey Bing and she’s the one who brought the project to Netflix,filming begins this month in Atlanta.
