The finals of the Peller Unity cup, a football tournament to celebrate the 20year memorial of the Late Professor Peller and promote Unity in the Oke-Ogun district of Oyo State was held recently.
Coming in third place match was decided by Penalties in which Saki West Rovers defeated Irepo United, the Final match, which was kicked off by the Alaafin of Oyo before the start of the match and the Ooni of Ife, Aseyin of Iseyin before the resumption of the second half, was won by Iseyin United who beat Iseyin City to lift the trophy. The highest goal scorer and most valuable player of the tournament are RIDWAN AYAKA (Saki West Rovers) and AZEEZ ADEFABI (Iseyin United). The spectators were refreshed by Rite foods limited fearless energy drink, Bigi sausage roll and other beverages.
