Femi Kuti breaks the world record for the longest single note on a saxophone at 46 min & 38 secs



At the New Africa Shrine yesterday evening, 55-year-old Femi Kuti broke the world record for the longest single note on a saxophone. This was previously set in 1997 by Kenny G at 45 minutes, 37 seconds.

 Femi broke the record at 46 minutes, 38 seconds in the presence of Senator Ben Murray-Bruce, deputy high commissioners of Netherlands and United Kingdom.

Femi's sister, Yeni, has now revealed that he would be trying it out again in the next two weeks. Watch the video after the cut.
