The Ekiti State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, yesterday, confirmed Governor Fayose of the Peoples Democratic Party as the winner of the governorship election held in the state on June 21, 2014.
The three-man panel which conducted its proceeding in Abuja, dismissed the petition filed against Fayose by the All Progressives Congress, APC.Lets recollect that APC had alleged that the election witnessed ahigh level of rigging, manipulation of voters register with election malpractices,and APC also queried the legal qualifications of Gov Fayose to participate in 2014.
