Reekado Banks have served the Nigerian Police notice to refund a couple who refused to show and perform their marriage. The case includes his manager and a Media Personality and is currently serving in the Ogba Police Area Command in Lagos. According to the findings, the singer was contracted on behalf of a couple, through the OAP to perform at their wedding but did not appear, and he at the same time was not deemed fit to reinstate the fee wife is the payment they made in advance to the singer. In this regard, Uwa Idahosa, a Benin Based Media Personality and a comedian who was contracted by the singer on behalf of the couple, dragged the Reekado Banks to court but the singer's manager said they could not refund full amount, but may be equivalent to N800,000. The inside sources revealed that Police Authorities gave the singer and her manager, Temi an ultimatum until Monday to restore the total of 2million worth of spouses. If they came, they would have to deal with the anger of the law. At this juncture, Idahosa and the manager of Reekado Banks manager are waiting until Monday to see if the race will respect the Ultimatum served by the Police. When Reekado's manager, Temi, interacted with the phone to confirm if the truth was true, he responded sharply to the issue, in a cruel voice saying: 'All the allegations are not true, I'd rather that this thing remain like this. When the right time comes, we will let the public know what's happening between the two sides'. We hope that the matter is solved amicably and it is also a lesson to Nigerian celebrities, most of them believe that they are more than law.
