Prince Aminu Sanusi Lamido, the first son of His Highness, the Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, joined the Nigeria Police Force.
Born in 1991, Prince Aminu joined the Nigerian Police after graduating from Buckingham University in the United Kingdom with a Bachelor of Accounting. He then went to Riyadh in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he studied Arabic before returning to Nigeria and did his NYSC in Lagos. The prince joined the Nigeria Police Service, Plateau Academy, where he died as an ASP on December 15.
The last great father of prince Aminu, Emir Ado Bayero, was a police officer before joining the diplomatic work, and then he became the emir of Kano.
