Lupita Nyong’o is the latest Hollywood actress to come forward and accuse movie mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment. She wrote for the New York Times this week, where she detailed a pattern of predatory behavior. She said it started while she was a student at the Yale School of Drama, and alleges Harvey once invited her into his bedroom and offered her a massage.
Well, Weinstein is saying it’s all lies. He issued a specific statement in response to her claims, which is interesting considering he’s yet to respond to claims from other A-list celebs like Gwyneth Paltrow and/or Angelina Jolie.
“Mr. Weinstein has a different recollection of the events, but believes Lupita is a brilliant actress and a major force for the industry,” a representative for him told E! News. “Last year, she sent a personal invitation to Mr. Weinstein to see her in her Broadway show Eclipsed.”
